An elegant and graphic old Berber rug from the Moroccan Middle Atlas distinguished by a subtle grey striated background of natural undyed wool, which is in stark contrast with a dark brown rectangular niche form woven along three sides. Simple and extremely complex at the same time, it appears as if speaking the language of the unconscious. Recently sourced in Paris, property of an art collector.
