This vintage Moroccan modernist rug was Custom woven in Tangiers in the late 1970s for the Rue De Grenelle Parisian apartment of someone very close to Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé; the rug is distinguished by an infinite repeat pattern of diamonds, which are knotted in a raised pile just like the border. The rug’s unique, sturdy texture is also augmented by the fact that it is woven entirely in cotton. Wonderfully tactile and subtle, it speaks the language of Paris chic.
