A rare white ground rug from the Beni Mguild tribe, showing a primitive rendition of the diamond pattern framed by one zig zag border and a sequence of small lozenges on the other side, in a manner that we sometimes see in their coloured variations. The use of blue is also typical for this tribe, as is the quite sturdy texture.
