This vintage Beni Mguild Berber rug in Rainbow colour of the Beni Mguild tribe, located in the Moroccan Middle Atlas mountains, are woven with lanolin-rich wool and constructed in a particularly sturdy fashion.
Here we see a signature Beni Mguild pattern and texture, the design being partially concealed because if the technique employed and therefore giving a pointillist character. This is further enhanced by the stunning rainbow of shades of yellow, orange, pink and purple. The generous width of the present example makes it especially useful for our modern interiors.
