Barbara Frua is a leading Milanese interior decorator and famed designer. Her work pays homage to Milan’s decorative arts tradition in an eclectic fashion, often at the crossroads between art and design. She is considered by many as the natural descendant of Gio Ponti, who was also a friend of her family.

A collection of jute and cotton custom-made flat weaves in jute and cotton, woven in the distinguished dhurrie and sumak technique, following the millenary Indian tradition of carpets destined to adorn the imperial palaces of Rajasthan in northern India. Distinguished by the refined geometric compositions using vegetable colours in elegant variations of geometric compositions.
