The lightning pattern that graces this Kamo sofreh is quite characteristic for the group, although we rarely encounter it rendered with such raw primitiveness. Here the weaver adopted a quasi-sculptural approach as if she was carving into the field, mixing wool and cotton yarns and adopting curved, eccentric wefts in order to accentuate the electric force of the pattern.
