This silk throne cover with opposing dragons and lotus flowers is a true gem of a weaving, with that perfect balance of colour and design that makes me love rugs so much. The central roundel is composed of affronting (or kissing?) dragons, surrounded by four delicate lotus flowers with outstretching leafy stems. The silk texture gives a silvery sparkle to the refined polychromy.
