A rare and unique Amoghli workshop modernist rug, distinguished by an ivory open field partially embellished by groups of three stylized fish in a rich burgundy red. The arrangement of these clusters of fish is strongly reminiscent of the design arrangement in the Art Deco rugs of Europe. Signed Amoghli in the lower left corner.
