A strikingly visual shawl composed of alternating rows of horizontal stripes in undyed dark wool and insect dyed fuchsia red silk. The differing widths of each stripe imparts this textile with a very contemporary look. Shawls of this type are extremely rare and were possibly woven as part of the dowry. Very little is known about the culture who wove them.
