This cute little Azilal rug shows a directional pattern culminating into what appears to be the pot used to cook tagine, which is a traditional Moroccan dish. However, I cannot help looking at it as an abstract representation of an amiable, three-eyed, two-mouthed figure wearing a small black hat.
