Distinguished by the rare use of wool alternated with a synthetic material, here the weaver creates two compartments each containing what appears as almost a three-dimensional projection of a pyramidal element. In order to achieve such an image she makes a creative use of the ‘salt and pepper’ technique by mixing yarns of contrasting colours and placing these in the crucial portions of the design.
