Over the years I have had the pleasure of handling two other examples of this type. Apparently these small, slit tapestry woven Qashqa’i kilims were intended as prayer cloths, being easily transportable. What I personally love is the fact that they manage to capture the same balance in colour and design of their larger siblings, offering a window over a green infinite.
