Verner Panton (1926-1998) is regarded as of one of Denmark’s most influential Mid-Century Modern furniture and interior designers. His psychedelic signature style can be seen in many of his creations, which range from lightings to carpets. ‘Marguerite’ is one of his most famous designs. Originally featured in five different colourways and in two different diameters, it was manufactured in the Rya technique by the Unika Vaev company in Copenhagen and is distinguished by an abstract floral pattern characteristic of the ‘flower power’ language of the 1960s.
