The carpet in the Gamba Collection conveys a positive attitude towards life. By using hand-spun Tibetan highland wool and nettle fibres in tested natural dyes, the carpets are colourful without being obtrusive.

Jan Kath actually never wanted to have anything to do with carpets. Although the son of a Bochum oriental carpet dealer grew up on fluffy Persian carpets, after completing his commercial training in his father’s business, he was drawn to the wide world for a year and a half. Today, the carpet star from Bochum supplies the design world with bold patterns and uncompromisingly focuses on the best quality and fair wages. The noble individual pieces are handmade in authentic production facilities in Nepal, India, Thailand and Morocco and then travel around the world. They often end up in the most renowned museums worldwide.
