Similarly to the preceding example, this rug is characterised by a decidedly Neo Baroque flavour, with flowing curvilinear motifs of architectural origin on a green background framing a red monochrome open field. This style was popular throughout the second half of the Thirties, supplanted by a completely different aesthetic after the end of World War II.
