A French geometric Art Deco rug distinguished by a repeat pattern of honeycomb arranged ivory lozenges knotted with a raised pile, contrasting with a similarly arranged cluster of apricot lozenges woven at the same height of the orange background. The rigorous geometry of this example is characteristic of the Art Deco weavings of the 1940s such as those designed by Jules Leleu.
