Woven in different tones of brown over a camel background, this Art Deco rug embodies the aesthetic of the period, juxtaposing an all-over pattern of triangles, probably taken from contemporaneous Moroccan rugs which were at their height of fashion, to a zig-zag outer border, also of probable Berber inspiration.
