A very finely woven Senneh rug, in wool on a single-wefted cotton foundation, shows a very intricate rendering of the herati pattern on a dark brown background. Rugs of this type have always been appreciated for its fine workmanship and exquisite choice of materials, resulting in one of the most elegant manifestations of Persian textile art during the Qajar Dynasty.
