Textile designer Madeline Weinrib’s passionate following can’t get enough of her brightly coloured, globally inspired fabrics, rugs and wall coverings. Though Weinrib began her career as a painter, her roots in design run deep. Today, she’s known for creating graphic prints that combine Old World references — from ikats and embroidered suzanis to brocades and jacquards — with modern takes on palette and scale.
Her rugs, pillows and textiles helped usher in a global, bohemian aesthetic in home design and over the years, she has collaborated with everyone from the Cooper Hewitt Museum to Manolo Blahnik.
