Here, we see what looks like an extreme stylisation of an animal pelt, in a style reminiscent of Tibetan tiger rugs but also of the way African zebra skins look on the floor. The weaver carefully chose her fabric scraps, so that the direct contrast between the red pelt (with black feet) and the soft lilac background would enact a strong dramatic impact.
