Very finely woven with high quality wool, this early Belgian Art Deco rug comes with an unknown monogram, thus defying a more precise attribution to a specific workshop. Here we see a more traditional design substrate, paying tribute to the early experiments of Art Nouveau although embracing fully the floral style that will characterise the following decade.
