Very finely woven with high-quality wool, this early Belgian Art Deco rug comes with an unknown monogram, thus defying a more precise attribution to a specific workshop. Here, we see a more traditional design substrate, paying tribute to the early experiments of Art Nouveau although fully embracing the floral style that would characterise the following decade.
