A truly unique Ziegler carpet, decorated by an infinite repeat pattern of extremely small square devices, chromatically arranged on a diagonal axis and giving a visual impression of a pointillist design. This is most probably the result of a special commission, anticipating largely the Modernist design development which took place in the subsequent decades.
