An unusual Finnish Rya, distinguished by the fact that it is knotted by hand instead of being machine made. The weaver employed all her skills in mixing different shades of colored wool to obtain the visual effect of freehand brushstrokes. The fact that weavings such as these are not signed unfortunately means that the artist will forever go unrecognized.
