A highly refined Oushak rug distinguished by a stunning aqua blue background, embellished by an oversized pattern composed of a large central palmette flanked by a network of elaborately drawn leafs. Designs of this type derive from the rich iconography of the Ottoman Turkish court, which has been the basis of most Oushak patterns throughout the 20th century.
