A fine vintage tribal flat weave, originating from the Yoruk tribes located in the Toros Mountains region in central Anatolia. Woven in the cicim technique, which consists of polychrome wool brocading on a monochrome kilim woven wool foundation, this example features the yastik format, which is characteristic of pillow faces but which also defines a group of rugs in small format. Given its impeccable condition, this piece can confortably employed as a small accent rug.
