A very finely woven old Berber rug from the Zenaga region, located in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco, distinguished by a crisp chequerboard design in pure ivory and black. Influenced by the north African textile iconography of the nearby Sahara region, this rug shows a minimalist simplicity which makes it the perfect backdrop for 20th century works of art and design. A truly elegant rug with an extremely fine surface and of the best material quality.
