A very unusual Azilal rug, with a long and narrow format emphasising the visual impact of the polychrome thunderbolt like pattern. The pile is entirely composed of industrial cotton, the rug being on a wool foundation having the floppy texture that is typical of the weavings of this region. A rug that is both beautiful as well as authentic of a weaving culture.
