A visually powerful kilim composed of two panels, each distinguished by striped gradations of red, imparting a liquidity to the pattern that seems to flow into the infinite. Woven on narrow nomadic looms, the juxtaposition of the two panels dictates a particular dynamic to the composition, interrupting the horizontal flow of the stripes yet enhancing the forward motion of the design.
