A minuscule complete saddle bag with the pile sections showing a large red octagon containing a green hooked lozenge, flanked top and bottom by smaller polygons, with everything set against an indigo blue background. The complex weft float brocading work on the closure panels is characteristic of the work of both the Luri and the Qashqa’i tribes. Miniature bags such as this were probably intended more as prestige items rather than for everyday use.
