A rare double-sided lahaf from the Bijar area, composed of two individual panels quilted together. Examples of this type were used as blankets in the sleeping area of the tribal tent. The light side is distinguished by a cherry red open field, framed by an aubergine purple border. The dark side is characterised by a monochrome, aubergine background with many different nuances. A true museum quality example of tribal textile art.
